The MachMaster
line of cold presses is designed to be an affordable, heavy duty line
featuring low maintenance and ease of operation. Success has been
achieved by combining our knowledge of cold pressing with many years of experience
in press construction. Start-up only involves filling the hydraulic
reservoir and connecting the electricity. Maintenance is accomplished by
regular plant personnel using standard off-the shelf components available
in most North American cities.
Model
Numbering System
Our
model numbering system is simple and easy to understand. Here's an
example:
0512/36-50-3
The
first four digits (those prior to the forward slash) indicate the
overall bottom platen dimension. In our example, the first four
digits are "0512" indicating that the bottom platen
dimension is a nominal 5' by 12'. Further, the first dimension in
the model number indicates the infeed dimension, or in this case,
this is a 5' by 12' press with the infeed on the 5' dimension. We
call this an "End Load" press. Further if the model
# is 1205/36-50-3, the press is a 12' by 5' press with the infeed on
the 12' dimension. We call this a "Side Load" press.
The
next two digits indicate the maximum operational stack height on the
machine. In our first example, the press will work up to a 36"
high stack of material.
The
next two digits ("50" on our example) indicate the maximum
specific pressure that can be applied to the press load when the
platen is fully loaded. Standard production ranges are 50 PSI to 200
PSI.
The
final single digit ("3" in our example) indicates the
number of section into which the top platen is split. In our
example, the press has a three piece top platen.
